Maureen Farley, a former Federal prosecutor, is Of Counsel to the firm. Maureen has extensive experience in all aspects of federal criminal matters.

Before joining the firm, Maureen spent more than ten years working at a prestigious criminal-defense firm in Bergen County, at which she was integral in the defense of those accused of a variety of federal crimes, including mortgage fraud, bank fraud, identity theft, computer crimes, narcotics trafficking, firearms possession, and immigration fraud. She also assisted in defending high-profile New Jersey officials accused of political corruption.

Before her practice in the criminal defense, Maureen served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of New Jersey. She served in the Criminal Division, starting as the first designated federal-enclave prosecutor. She also successfully prosecuted individuals accused of narcotics trafficking, credit-card fraud and identity theft, Housing and Urban Development fraud, immigration fraud, federal-program fraud, firearms violations, bank robbery, and civil-rights violations.

Maureen started her legal career as a litigator at a large New York law firm, at which she was part of a team that secured one of the largest environmental-coverage verdicts.

She is a 1994 graduate of Rutgers Law School – Newark, graduating with Honors & Order of the Coif. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers College. She also served as law clerk for the Honorable Judge Katharine S. Hayden, United States District Court Judge in the District of New Jersey.

Maureen is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the District of New Jersey, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
